WP 2 Detection and monitoring
The products, developed in this work package, like sensors and (wireless) networks, scan the whole greenhouse system online and site-specific for the presence of threatening pests and diseases during cultivation.

They also monitor disease indicators and environmental factors, influencing pests and diseases.
The monitoring process takes place in two stages:
- Overall monitoring throughout the greenhouse at crop level (macro-scale). If this leads to detection of a suspected spot that requires special attention, then step 2 follows.
- Intensive monitoring at the level of leaf, plant or plants (micro-scale). This occurs before the symptom phase.
